RTC May Meeting Changed
to May 20th |
|
THE MEETING WILL BE
AT 8 PM
IN THE CONE ROOM AT TOWN
HALL |
| |
|
At
its meeting this week,
the Executive Committee
decided to change the
date of the May RTC
meeting. This was
done to avoid having
two meetings in a short
period of time.
The
reason for the change
relates to the state
rule that we must
endorse Single Town
District Assembly
Representatives and
certain other offices
between May 20-27 (a
period which includes a
weekend and Memorial
Day). Our originally
scheduled date of May 28
for the full RTC meeting
does not comply with
that requirement. Since
those RTC members who
reside in the 150th and
151st Districts will be
attending the caucuses
for those offices on May
20, the EC deemed it
advisable to have the
full RTC meeting that
night following the
caucuses. |

May 14th
RTC EC Meeting Cancelled |
| |
|
The scheduled
May 14th RTC Executive Committee
meeting has been cancelled. This
month is already very busy with
the various Conventions and
Caucuses, and since we have our
regularly scheduled RTC meeting
on May 20, it does not make
sense to ask everyone to come
out to one more meeting.

PETER J. TESEI
As a life-long resident whose family
has called Greenwich home for five generations, I am
proud of our town and determined to make life better for
all who live here. Greenwich remains one of the
most sought after communities in which to raise a
family, and I know that our quality of life is nurtured
through strong citizen involvement in the community. |
|
To that end, I
have committed myself throughout my adult life to
serving this community, ensuring that the things we
value as our town’s crown jewels will be preserved and
enhanced for future generations. This effort requires
leadership and the ability to work with government and
community leaders. It relies on building relationships
and developing a working team.
In partnership with Peter Crumbine as Selectman and the
excellent team of other Republican candidates on our
slate, we will lead with a vision of responsible
government, informed by our depth of experience and
knowledge about the issues facing our town today. I
respectfully request your vote for First Selectman on
Tuesday, November 6th. I believe together we can forge a
successful future for our beloved Town of Greenwich. |

PETER J. CRUMBINE
My background in government, business
and education provides the right combination for leading
Greenwich forward. Working with Peter Tesei and the rest
of the Republican ticket, I will focus on five broad
areas: modest and predictable annual mill rate
increases; quality of life with an emphasis on
additional playing fields, parks and open space;
academically excellent
neighborhood schools; long range capital planning; and a
comprehensive vision for our central business district. |
